Extended, Surprisingly Not Spoilery “Guardians of the Galaxy” Trailer Debuts, Offers First Look at Yondu

guardian-of-the-galaxy-posterFollowing a 17-minute sneak preview in theaters across the US, Marvel dropped another trailer for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. And it doesn’t spoil anything major!

I find that a bit surprising because we’re a month away from the premiere and all the previous trailers have shown basic structure but hasn’t revealed too much. It’s a bloody miracle considering how many movie trailers show key parts of the final act in the first long trailer or use so many scenes across all the ads that you can practically stitch together the whole film.

Most of the new footage gives us a better look at Lee Pace’s Ronan the Accuser and what I believe is our first look at Michael Rooker as Yondu. At this point, this will probably be the last ad/trailer I watch for fear of seeing too much so I’m going to super-savor this one.

Behold its glory!

So what did you think? More excited? Wish they’d show less? Joining me on not watching any more trailers after this?

About Tamara Brooks

A few things I wondered about as a kid: Why didn't Wonder Woman punch more bad guys in the face on the tv show?; How does Superman flying around the Earth turn back time?; Could someone really catch bullets with their teeth?; Why didn't the liquid bits of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man cause 3rd degree burns on whoever it landed on? Because melted marshmallow is up there with molten hot lava.
