Sneak Peek at DC’s ‘Batman: Under The Red Hood’

DC Comics has been upping their direct-to-DVD animation game lately. Green Lantern: First Flight was great and Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths was their best yet. So when I heard they were tackling the recent Red Hood storyline, I was intrigued.

Now, courtesy of HeatVision, we get a look at what I believe is the first clip from the flick:

If those voices sound familiar, well…it’s because you know the actors very well. Bruce Greenwood (Capt. Pike, Star Trek; John From Cincinnati; Deja Vu; I, Robot) voices Batman and the always enjoyable Jensen Ackles speaks for the Red Hood. The movie also features Neil Patrick Harris as Nightwing, which is awesome.

In case you don’t know the general storyline, here’s the full trailer:

With a release date of July 27th, I’m expecting a big presence at San Diego Comic Con. Mental Note: Make it to the DCUniverse panel at all costs….

About Tamara Brooks

A few things I wondered about as a kid: Why didn't Wonder Woman punch more bad guys in the face on the tv show?; How does Superman flying around the Earth turn back time?; Could someone really catch bullets with their teeth?; Why didn't the liquid bits of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man cause 3rd degree burns on whoever it landed on? Because melted marshmallow is up there with molten hot lava.
